Very pleasant stay in a beautiful spacious holiday home
We stayed in mid-March in Wergenstein in have enjoyed the stay in this large beautifully restored Swiss farm very much, lots of space, beautiful warmth through the soapstone oven and beautiful winter atmosphere. Recommended at any time.

We stayed here as 5 adults for a work retreat and had a great time! the property had everything we needed: two large dining tables, so we could work at one and dine at the other; a well-equipped kitchen to prepare all the meals we wanted; a comfortable living area with fireplace; a terrace with a large table for lunches in the sun; ample windows to enjoy sunrise and then bright sunlight all day. The village is quaint and has instant access to sledding (sleds are in the garage), snowshoe (the local hotel has 6 pairs available to rent), and ski touring routes. Simon was excellent to communicate with and the housekeeper Jolanda made check-in and out very smooth. Would certainly look to stay again in summer, as there seems to be so much more to explore!

Great Mountain Hideaway
Very pleasant stay in Wergenstein; we (family of 5) had a great summer week. If you are looking for an authentic old Swiss farmhouse with a surprisingly modern part in the back, this is a very good place to stay. Very well-equipped. Simon (Host) and Jolanda (caretaker) are nice and helpful!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The cottage is very spacious and leaves nothing to be desired. Even as a large group we stayed very well and all felt comfortable. In addition, arrival and departure were very uncomplicated and the communication very friendly. We will definitely be happy to come back!
